Fifty years ago, in 1974, Ricard López and Magda Barceló achieved their dream of bringing global design to Barcelona and giving visibility to local brands, creating a benchmark in the world of furniture and decoration. Pilma, a family business with four generations, has its roots in 1929, when Ricard began working in the cabinetmaking shop that his father founded. Since then, the family has consolidated the brand, keeping intact the original spirit of Ricard and Magda, with minimalist, aesthetic, functional and balanced products, present in their furniture.
